8. How will the builder know I have registered my client if I am not with them?

A builder is able to use your client’s phone number to pull up and print the registration details. All your client has to do is let the builder know that they are registered with RMC and give the agent their phone number.

9. Is my registration valid if my client “fires” me?

A RMC registration does not stop a client from getting a new agent. A buyer can have anyone they choose represent them in the transaction. However, it is up to the builders’ commission policies if the new agent will be paid. Some builders have a policy that states if a buyer purchases a home within 30 days of the agent registration the registering agent will be paid. Other builders’ policies state that the last agent into the sales office with the buyer will be paid. It is up to the builder and their policy as to who will be paid.

Yes! You can re-register a client as many times as it takes for them to find a new home. However, your client will have to re-confirm the registration each time.
